TEXTILE TUESDAYS EPISODE 1.

In this opening episode of Textile Tuesdays, the production team traveled to the L.A. Fashion District where satin was the topic of discussion. There is a huge misconception about satin. This episode provides clarity for the audience in 60 seconds.

TEXTILE TUESDAYS EPISODE 2.

The Textile Tuesdays’ Production Team traveled to a boutique in the Santa Monica Promenade where hydrophobic fibers were explained. In this episode hydrophobic fibers were discussed as well as quick styling tips in 60 seconds.

 
 

TEXTILE TUESDAYS EPISODE 3 & 4.

In Episode 3 of Textile Tuesdays, Angelene Ronique featured one of her custom pieces that was made out of an unconventional fabric. Listen in to discover the fiber contents.

In this episode camera crews weren’t allowed so Angelene Ronique personally went into the Getty Museum to show the Textile Tuesdays audience how textiles were illustrated in the 17th and 18th Century. Watch to see what textiles were used during those centuries and how they were depicted by the artists of the times.

 
 

EPISODE 6 - TEXTILE TUESDAYS SPECIAL EDITION.

The Textile Tuesdays’ Production Team was invited into The Costume House, where owner and Multi-Award Winning Costume Designer Shon LeBlanc gave our audience a deeper look into the costume world. Watch to see some amazing pieces that carry rich history.

EPISODE 7 - TEXTILE TUESDAYS SPECIAL TRIBUTE.

In this episode the Creative Director of Textile Tuesdays, Angelene Ronique, collaborated with Natalie J. Gray and Definitive Measure to create a musical and visual art piece entitled “Color Theory”. Angelene’s desire was to address what was currently happening in the “fabric” of society and she used the mediums of art and music to do just that.

“Fashion Designers use color in their collections to aid in telling a story or conveying a theme. I wanted to use color to tell a different story.”-Angelene Ronique

In this Textile Tuesdays Special Tribute art was used to convey and bring awareness to the social injustice that continues to haunt this country.
